“A Heritage and Reward”

Blessings folk!

At this moment 29 years my wife was literally being wired.
A baby was coming. (I would do that different now...never let a doctor dictate timing based upon a holiday schedule&hellip
Three hours later...Lenee.
Yes, I wanted to name her “Joshua”..means “Yah is salvation”, “God saves”.
I was over ridden.

Psa 127:1-5

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

These truths are never to be forgotten.
Children are:

• a heritage from the Lord
• a reward from the Lord
• as arrows in the hand of a might man

Happy/blessed is the man that has a quiver full of children.
Such a man will not be ashamed.

What are you doing with the blessing of children that the Lord has granted?
The days will pass quickly by.
Begin today.
Let the past be the past.
Seek His kingdom and His righteousness with you children and watch what the Lord will do.

Pro 17:6
Grandchildren are the crown of old men,
And the glory of sons is their fathers.

Indeed, may you see your children’s children.
