“Fear/Hope”

Blessings folk!

The Lord is looking.
The Lord is seeking.
For what?
Several things.

Here is one.

He is looking for those who fear Him.
He is looking for those who hope in Him.

Psalm 33:18-19
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope for His lovingkindness,
19 To deliver their soul from death
And to keep them alive in famine.

The eye of the Lord is upon those who fear Him.
He is looking for those who place their hope in Him.

Why?
To deliver their soul from death.
To keep them alive in famine.

Notice that He does not necessarily deliver “from” famine.
He keeps alive in the midst thereof.

Psalm 147:11
11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Those who fear the Lord are pleasing to Him.
He is pleased by those who hope in Him.

In what do you hope?
In whom do you hope?
Do you fear the Lord?
