"Strong: Bear the Weaknesses..."
“Strong: Bear the Weaknesses…”
Blessings folk!
You have seen the commercials.
“But, wait. There is more!!”
The same occurs in Paul’s letter to the Romans.
The Spirit communicating through Paul desired for the Body to love OneAnother and to walk in humility before each other.

Romans 15:1
Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves.
NASB
We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
ESV
The strong have the obligation.
Now, remember who the strong are.
They know their freedom in the Lord.
They know their liberty.
The specific context has been the freedom/liberty to eat/drink and to consider/not consider particular days.
The weak limited themselves as to food/drink.
Here the strong are called to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, to bear with the failings of the weak.
We set aside ourselves and the freedom that we have.
How different the Body of Christ would be if we would do so.
Walk in humility before each other.
