Are you a stumbling block?
Woe to you if so.

So many who profess to be Believers are actually stumbling blocks.
They cause the True Believer to stumble.

These stumbling blocks grieve the Spirit.

They deny the Lord.
They sound wonderful, articulate, entertaining, yet they cause harm to the Body.

We note the severity of being a stumbling block.
Jesus uses some serious hyperbole to describe…
  • better to drown by millstone
  • better to cut off hand
  • better to cut off foot
  • better to remove eye

Jesus then encourages us to loss not our saltiness.
He then tells us to be at peace with one another.

(You will notice that in the Mark passage the NIV and NET do not include verses 44, 46)

Jesus states that stumbling blocks are inevitable.
It is not inevitable that we become one.
Do not.
