"Seek Your Servant"

“Seek Your Servant”

Blessings folk!!

Psalm 119...the final verses!
Yes, it is the “longest chapter” in the Bible.
It is a profound declaration of the Power of the Word of the Lord...His commandments, precepts, instructions, rules, etc.

Now, give heed to how the Psalmist closes…

Psalm 119:175-176
175 Let my soul live and praise you,
and let your rules help me.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant,
for I do not forget your commandments.

Our life comes from the Lord.
Continued life is from Him.
The Psalmist cries to the Lord to “let my soul live”.
To what purpose?
To praise the Lord.

We see that it is the rules of the Lord that help us.

The Psalmist closes in an interesting and humbling manner.
He acknowledges that he had gone astray...like a lost sheep.

He then cries out to the Lord seek him.

Interesting.

Have we asked the Lord to seek for us?
Have we asked the Lord to seek your servant?

Today, allow the Lord to seek and search the innermost parts.
Allow Him to place His loving finger upon things.
What change might He make?
