"He Loved..."

Pasted Graphic

(Close attention to the Feasts detail in the gospel gives us accurate timing as to the events occurring. From this we glean that Jesus was not crucified on “good Friday”, but on Wednesday afternoon. Jesus declared that He would be in the belly of the earth “three days and three nights”. Complete. Not portions thereof. Yes, Jesus was taken off the cross because “the next day was the sabbath”, but it was not the weekly sabbath. It was the sabbath of the first day of the feast of Unleavened bread. More as we go&hellipWinking

Look at what was occurring.

Jesus knew that the hour had come for Him to depart this world and return to Father.
Jesus loved His own who were in this world.
Jesus loved them to the end.

This does not mean that He did not love those in the world.

It means He fulfilled His mission.
He was faithful to the end. He loved.
