Upon what do you focus your eye and attention?

Mat 6:22
“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.

“But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.
If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

What we take in visually…
What we spend time viewing…
What we pursue with our eye…
Will greatly impact the light in our body…
Will greatly impact the light of The Body (of Christ)…
Will fill us with light…
Will quench the Light…

Note the context is treasure.
Note we have a responsibility.

1Jo 2:15-16
Do not love the world nor the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Therefore:
Do not love the world.
Do not love the things of the world.
Why?
If one loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
All that is in the world…
- the lust of the flesh
- the lust of the eyes
- the boastful pride of live
…is not from the Father, but is of the world.

Be not of the world.
Have the eye of the Lord.
Focus on the things above.
