Many of the things we face in the Body of Christ are not new.
There was a dispute among the disciples - the Twelve with Jesus.

Like I said, the same occurs today.

They wanted to know which was the greatest.

Jesus gives us a profound statement…”it is not this way with you.”

We are not to be as the Gentiles.
We are not to seek “to be the greatest”.
We are not to lord authority over one another.
Sadly, this is the norm in the church today.
We think it is “leadership”.
It is not.

The greatest must be as the youngest.
The leader must be a servant.

Jesus came to serve.
Jesus came to give His life a ransom for many.

As Believers, so should we.

Jesus gives a final word to the Twelve.
They had stood by Him.
Father has granted Jesus a Kingdom.
Jesus granted to the Twelve that they would eat and drink at His table in His Kingdom.
They will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

This will happen in the age to come when all things are renewed.

Hummm...all things renewed?
