“Set Your Mind…”
Blessings folk!
Are you raised up with Christ?
Are you a true believer?
Or, are you a “good” person, a “church member”, etc.
Many there are who think they are in correct relationship with the Most High, yet they are not.
Be certain that you are.
Seek the Lord.
He will affirm and confirm.
Now, for those who are “raised up with Christ”…
Col 3:1
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
Keep seeking the things above.
Keep seeking the things of the Most High.
The next verse gives more…
Col 3:2
Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
This is how we keep seeking the things above.
We must set our mind on the things above.
Not on the things on the earth.
Truth be said, most believers are more concerned with the cares and concerns of this life than on the things above.
Our mind must be set…focused…consumed with the things above.
The Lord has given us a great promise related to this.
If we set our mind on the things above, we will have peace…
Isa 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
The Lord will provide perfect peace to whose whose mind is set on Him.
Do you lack peace?
Set your mind on the things above.
Are you anxious?
Set your mind of the things above.
Do you fear?
Set your mind on the things above.
Are you frustrated?
Set your mind on the things above.
Do you doubt?
Set your mind on the things above.
We deal with things on the earth by setting our mind on the things above.
Any other way will fail…
