Rom 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

It is in the gospel that the righteousness of God is revealed…His “rightness”, His character, His nature, etc.

Rom 1:17

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
“BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”

Only by the gospel do men attain righteousness.
Only by the gospel can we live by faith.
Faith to faith…an interesting phrase and thought.
We have faith by the faith given by God…faith unto faith.

Yet, we do not speak and share the gospel.

It is the calling of every true believer to share the gospel in the way God has empowered by His Spirit in your life.

We think this means standing behind a pulpit or podium.
We think this means standing on the street corners.
We think this has a speaking role/function within the organizational church.

Not true.

All these have a purpose, but the greater role is that of a true Believer simply sharing what the Lord has done in their life.
Day in.
Day out.
With family.
With friends.
With co-workers.
With “strangers”.
All in the “normal” process of life.

Folk will be drawn to such a manifestation of God’s power and Presence in our lives.

Allow Him to flow.
Allow Him to speak.
Rejoice in what He does.
