“All Things Are Possible With God"

Blessings folk!

Jesus told His disciples that it is hard for a rich man to be saved.

Why?

Well…He tells us…

Mar 10:23-27

And Jesus, looking around, said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!”

The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!

“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

They were even more astonished and said to Him, “Then who can be saved?”

Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God;
for all things are possible with God.”

As we have seen earlier, the wealthy will put their hope of entrance into the Kingdom in their abilities and resources.

That will not work.

That is what Jesus meant when He said “with people it is impossible.”
No one can be saved by their abilities.
No one can be saved by their resources.
No one can be saved by their initiative.

We are only saved by the hand of the Lord.
All things are possible with God.

We see this thought in the positive - “all things are possible” - and in the negative - “nothing is impossible” - in several places in the Word.

Luk 1:37
“For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Mat 19:26
And looking at them Jesus said to them,
“With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Luk 18:27
But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

All things are possible with God.

We may think a situation is impossible.
It is impossible with man.
But not with God.

We may think someone is irredeemable.
They are irredeemable in the flesh.
But not with God.

Even the wealthy/rich can be saved.
But, not of their own volition.
Only in and through God.

With God, all things are possible.
Nothing is impossible with God.

Rejoice!
