“Accumulate”

Today’s reading:
Matthew 6:19-21
Luke 12:33-34

What do you treasure?
Where is your treasure?
Where do you store/accumulate?
The Lord tells us directly to not store up/accumulate treasures for ourselves here on earth. There is nothing wrong with stuff. It is the mindset. If stuff is being accumulated for yourself, then that is wrong. Our abundance is provided to meet the need of others.
Earthly treasures will deceive our hearts.
What is the antidote?
Sell your possessions and give to the poor.
Doing so provides “purses that do not wear out - a treasure in heaven that never decreases, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.”
Where is your treasure?
Where is your heart?
