“But You Are God…”
Blessings folk!
The people were recounting the great things that God had done for them.
Then, they confessed the response of their fathers.
Note what the people did.
Note what God does.
Even still…
God!
He did not forsake them!
He will not forsake us!
Seek Him!
Follow His way…

Neh 9:16-17
“But they, our fathers, acted arrogantly;
They became stubborn and would not listen to Your commandments.
“They refused to listen,
And did not remember Your wondrous deeds which You had performed among them;
So they became stubborn and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt.
But You are a God of forgiveness,
Gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness;
And You did not forsake them.
Even though the fathers…
- Acted arrogantly
- Became stubborn
- Would not/refused to listen
- Did not remember the wondrous deeds the Lord had performed among them
- Stubbornly appointed a leader to return them to slavery in Egypt
Even still…
God!
- The God of Forgiveness
- Gracious
- Compassionate
- Slow to Anger
- Abounding in Lovingkindness
He did not forsake them!
He will not forsake us!
Seek Him!
