“Humility”

Blessings folk!

The humility of the Spirit.
The Spirit seeks to grant it.
We must choose to walk in it.

Give heed to the Word as it speaks to humility.

Pro 15:33
The fear of the LORD is the instruction for wisdom,
And before honor comes humility.

Pro 18:12
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
But humility goes before honor.

Pro 22:4
The reward of humility and the fear of the LORD
Are riches, honor and life.

So many want to be honored.
They want the place and position of honor.
Yet, they have not submitted to humility.

Humility comes first.
Then, honor.

No humility?
Then destruction.
The opposite of humility?
Haughtiness.

Humility is rewarded...in this life and the next.
The fear of the Lord is rewarded.
The rewards?
Riches.
Honor.
Life.

Walk in the humility of the Spirit.
Walk not in the hubris and haughtiness of the flesh.
