“Woman, Well, Worship”
Blessings Folk!
Today’s reading is one of my favorite portions of the Word.
So much to glean.
Ask the Spirit to give you revelation, illumination, enlightenment and understanding.
He will.
Ask Him to speak to your heart...to your need.
The passage is somewhat lengthier than our normal, daily, synoptic reading.
Take your time.
Rather than comment as in the usual pattern, allow me to ask you to pay attention to the following as your are reading…
John 4:4-42

This is an amazing encounter.
Meditate upon it.
Jesus went because He must pass through - led by Father.
Jesus was tired.
Jesus is Living Water.
Jesus quenches the thirst we all have.
She believed because of what Jesus had told her.
The town believed...firstly because of her testimony…but then because they had heard for themselves that Jesus is the Savior of the world.
The Jews resisted and rejected.
The Samaritans, despised by the Jews as being a corrupted lineage, heard and believed.
Jesus gives His greatest teaching on worship to a Samaritan woman.
Learn from Jesus the way to speak.
Learn the way to live.
Worship.
