“Un…”

Blessings folk!

We have seen some of the characteristics of man during the last days.
It is not a pretty picture.
Much like today, yet more intense.

We continue...

2 Timothy 2:1-5
1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

Man will be “un-”

• ungrateful
• unholy
• unloving

Ungrateful - acharistos

• unpleasing
• unthankful

At its root, “sin” is ingratitude toward God.

Unholy - anosios

• imipious
• wicked

Unloving - astorgos

• without natural affection
• unsociable
• in human

Obviously these are not traits/characteristics of True Believers.
The world knows we are Jesus’ disciples by our love for one another.
A True Believer is grateful, holy and loving.

Let us be so.
Avoid such men as these.
