“Joy/Lost Coin”

Today’s reading:

Luke 15:8-10

Jesus continues with His thought that we saw yesterday.

Here we have the example of the missing coin.

The woman searched the house for the missing coin.
Upon finding it she rejoiced.
She told her neighbors.
They rejoiced with her.

So it is with the angels.
When one sinner repents there is joy in the presence of the angels of God.

Often it is stated that there is joy in heaven.
True.

But here, it is stated “joy in the presence of the angels of God…”

Angels in heaven.
Angels here.
Rejoice at repentance.

Speak the gospel.
Rejoice with the angels as folk repent.
