“Seek Humility”

Blessings folk!

A quick continuation on “humility”.

Zep 2:3
Seek the LORD,
All you humble of the earth
Who have carried out His ordinances;
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
Perhaps you will be hidden
In the day of the LORD’S anger.

Look at the commands.

Seek the Lord
Seek righteousness.
Seek humility.

Who is to seek?
The humble on the earth.
The ones who have carried out the ordinances of the Lord.

Then, perhaps you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.

Those who are true believers will be spared the day of the Lord’s anger - the Day of the Lord.

Unbelievers will not be spared the wrath of the Lord.

There will be some that will “make it through” the Day of the Lord...some Jews, some Gentiles...
