Jesus took the disciples to a garden to pray.
It was the last step of preparation.
He knew His hour was at hand.

He instructed the disciples to pray, then took Peter/James/John with Him to pray.
He told them how He felt - deeply grieved.
He asked for them to remain and to keep watch.

They did...until overcome by sleep.

Three times Jesus rousted them from slumber.
He exhorted them:
  • to pray
  • to keep watch

Keeping watch and praying that they would be not enter into temptation.
The spirit is willing.
The flesh is weak.

Jesus, knowing His path, asked of Father for this cup He was about to drink to pass.

But, He desired Father’s will.
He submitted to it.
They...Father/Son/Spirit...submitted..

To what are we submitted?
The fears and desires of the flesh?
Or, the Spirit of the Most High?
