“Have You Considered…”

Blessings folk!

The sons of God presented themselves before the Lord.
The Satan came also.

The Lord questioned The Satan.

Job 1:6-7

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

The LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
Then Satan answered the LORD and said,
“From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

Then, the Lord does this…

Job 1:8
The LORD said to Satan,
“Have you considered My servant Job?
For there is no one like him on the earth,
a blameless and upright man,
fearing God and turning away from evil.”

How did the Lord describe Job?
As we have seen…

  • Blameless
  • Upright
  • Fearing God
  • Turning away from sin
With an additional thought…”there is no one like him on earth”.
The Lord calls Job “my servant”.

What is the Lord doing?
What did He mean by “consider My servant Job”?

We will see.
God’s ways are not our ways.
His thoughts are not our thoughts.

Isa 55:8
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.
