“Where? Who? What? When?”

“Where? Who? What? When?”

Blessings folk!

God asked Job where he was when He laid the foundations of the earth.

The Lord continued…

Job 38:4-7

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding,

Who set its measurements? Since you know.
Or who stretched the line on it?

“On what were its bases sunk?
Or who laid its cornerstone,

When the morning stars sang together
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Again, we see the righteous, sinless sarcasm of the Lord.

Note two big things.

  1. The detail of creation of the earth
- a foundation was laid
- measurements were made
- a line was stretched on it
- it has bases…sunk
- it has a cornerstone

(2) Others were present and watched as the Lord created!
- the morning stars sang together
- the sons of God shouted for joy

All of this is significant and likely challenges our preconceived ideas.

The Lord created.
The detail gives support to that which we see in the natural…if we would only look.
The witnesses open up another area of consideration…one which most have never seen.

For now, know the truths.

Believe them.

The Lord was showing something to Job.

He is showing us the same.
