You, Be Strong and Do Not Let Your Hands Be Weak

“You, Be Strong and Do Not Let Your Hands Be Weak”

Blessings Folk!

Fear not!
It is gonna get worse.

If you know the Word, you know this.
If you fear the Lord, you will not fear the circumstance of man.

We had a good, long discussion of such yesterday as we gathered as the Body of the Most High God.

People often look at the situations we see in the world and wonder if “this is the end”.
Nope.
Not yet.

But, things are developing.
There are enemies from without.
There are more enemies from within.

Heed the Word of the Lord.
I find this passage to be helpful, instructive, exhortive (is that a word? LOL) encouraging and precisely to the need of our current days.

The Spirit of the Lord came upon Azariah…

2 Chronicles 15
1 Now the Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded,
and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: the Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
3 For many days Israel was without the true God and without a teaching priest and without law.
4 But in their distress they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and they sought Him, and He let them find Him.
5 In those times there was no peace to him who went out or to him who came in, for many disturbances[
b]afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands.
6 Nation was crushed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every kind of distress.
7 But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work.”

Look at the truth here.

  1. The Lord is with you when you are with Him
Do you abide in the Lord?
Do you rest in the Lord?
Do you trust in the Lord?
  1. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him
What do you seek? Be honest…
  1. If you forsake the Lord, He will forsake you
  2. For many days Israel was without…
  • the true God
  • a teaching priest
  • a law
Israel rejected the commandments of God
The priests were corrupt.
Such is the status of most of the professing church today. We pursue false gods, rare is the one who truly teaches and lives the Word of God. The Word is rejected. Most “preaching/teaching” is the “twice-too-cuteness” of man.
  1. In their distress….are you distressed? Are we distressed as a people?
  • they turned to God
  • they sought the Lord
  • He let them find Him
  • there was no peace for those who went in/out...many disturbances, nations crushing nations, city by city...God troubled them with every kind of distress. We are beginning to experience such. Much more will come. Unless…

Therefore,

  1. Be strong
  2. Do not lose courage
  3. There is reward in the work.

Press on in the Kingdom.
Know that evil days will increase. The Word is clear of such.
Know that those who know their God will be used mightily by Him.

Today we are in training.
The true battle is marching closer day by day.

Are you preparing?
In Who will you trust?
In Who will you fear?

It is really very simple.

One will believe either the Lord God, or not.

Choose God.

Blessings!
