Jas 1:19
This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger;

Jas 2:12
So speak and so act as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty.

Jas 4:11
Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

Note how we are to react.
Quick to hear…active ears…hearts oriented toward the thoughts of others.
Slow to speak…not quick to present our response.
Slow to anger.

We are to speak…
We are to act…
As those who are to be judged by the law of liberty.

We have freedom.
We have liberty.
Not to harm others.
But, we are free.

We are not to speak against one another.

Speak the truth.
