“Patriot’s Day”

Blessings Folk!

Today is a day worthy of commemoration and celebration - far more than most of the days that are set aside for such.

Today is often referred to as Patriot’s Day.

Look at some of the things that occurred on this day in the past…(keep in mind that the Wikipedia articles can be biased in varied ways...but are useful for a jumping off point in research...and for basic event info)

• American revolution began in 1775, battles of Lexington and Concord

• Bay of Pigs ended in “success for the defenders”...love that description, I guess “defeat for the aggressors” is politically incorrect.

• Covenant, the Sword and the Arm of the Lord sieged by FBI - 1985 No, I do not agree with the group’s “theology and practice”, nor do I advocate government attacks.

• Branch Davidian compound was attacked, gassed, burned in 1993
