1Ch 16:18-22
Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan,
As the portion of your inheritance.”
When they were only a few in number,
Very few, and strangers in it,
And they wandered about from nation to nation,
And from one kingdom to another people,
He permitted no man to oppress them,
And He reproved kings for their sakes, saying,
“Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do My prophets no harm.”

The Lord gave them then land when…
they were few in number…they would never have attained nor maintained outside the Lord
they were strangers in the land
wandered from nation to nation, kingdom to kingdom

The Lord allowed no one to oppress them upon the land.
(Now, later He did allow peoples to punish/conquer His people due to disobedience)

The Lord told the leadership of the nations…
do not touch My anointed ones
do My prophets no harm

The Lord provided.
The Lord protected.

He does so today…to all believers.

Rest in the Lord.
Rejoice in the Lord.
Live boldly in the Lord and His Promised Land…
