“Comfort”

Blessings folk!

The next stanza of the acrostic Psalm 119.
Zayin!
In what do you take comfort?
Food?
Solitude?
People?
Drink
Busy-ness?
Circumstances?
Power?
Stuff?
Passions?
Et.c Etc.

Psalm 119:49-50
Zayin.
49 Remember the word to Your servant, In which You have made me hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me.

Our hope is in the Lord.
He reveals Himself in many ways...creation, the Word.
The Word brings Hope!

The Word is comfort in affliction.
The Word will revive.

Anything else other than the Hope of the Lord and the Word of the Lord is but a temporary substitute.

Comfort and revival from anything else is but temporary.
