Blessings folk!
Paul had a calling from God.
He was to take the gospel to people.
He aspired to preach the gospel.
He had desired to take the Good News to his people, the Jews.
He did.
Then, the Lord led him to take the gospel to the Gentile.
He had a strong desire to take the gospel to those who had not heard.
Read how he stated it…
Romans 15:20-21
20 And thus I aspired to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, so that I would not build on another man’s foundation;
21 but as it is written,
“They who had no news of Him shall see,
And they who have not heard shall understand.”
He did not want to build upon another man’s foundation - not due to pride, but due to his calling...to take the gospel to where it had not gone before.
He realized that the Word prophesied of such.
That is what verse 21 states.
Those who had no news will see Him….through Paul and others.
Those who had not heart of Him shall understand.
Each believer has a calling from the Lord.
The variations within the calling are as different as each individual.
Do you seek the know the call?
Do you seek to live within it with each breath?
Do you seek the glory of the Lord?
