“Blessed…”

Blessings folk!

Jesus sends them forth as witnesses.
He does the same with True Believers today.

Note what He does next.

Luke 24:48-53
48 “You are witnesses of these things.
49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”
50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.
51 While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
52 And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
53 and were continually in the temple praising God.

He led them...to Bethany.
He lifted up His hands...to heaven? Likely over them…
He blessed them.
He parted from them...while He was blessing them.
He was carried up to heaven.

The disciples response?
They worshipped Him.
They returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
They were continually…again, continually...day-by-day...in the temple praising God.

We are blessed of God.
Are we praising Him continually without ceasing?
