Hab 3:12
In indignation You marched through the earth;
In anger You trampled the nations.

Why?

The next verse explains…

Hab 3:13
You went forth for the salvation of Your people,
For the salvation of Your anointed.
You struck the head of the house of the evil
To lay him open from thigh to neck.
Selah.

The Lord does this for the salvation of His people
For the salvation of His anointed.

The Lord also strikes the head of the house of the evil.
He lays him open.

Then the word…”selah”.
Think on this.
Reflect upon this.
Meditate upon this truth.

What is meant?

The Day of the Lord will be for the salvation of His people.
The Day of the Lord will bring judgment upon evil.
