“Faith”

Blessings folk!

We are to give to meet the needs of other, beginning with the household of faith.

Gal 6:10
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone,
and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

We have been “trained” that this can only take place by funneling resources through a religious institution.

This is not true.
As a matter of fact, it is limiting.
It places us in the mind-set that “it is someone else’s responsibility to take what we have given and apply it as needed”.
The Lord wants each of us to give without the “middle-man”.

Jas 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works?
Can that faith save him?

If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food,

and one of you says to them,
“Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body,
what good is that?

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Giving is a deed and action arising from faith.

Give as led by the Lord.
Give as you have determined in your heart.
Meet the needs of others.

Freely give.
Freely receive.

Let us break the walls and barriers of man.
Let us give with an abundance beyond our resources.
Let us give by the Power and Presence of the Most High God.
