“Be Devoted…”

Blessings folk!

In Romans 12 we encounter another OneAnother statement.

Read the verses...we will expand upon the context later.

Note how it is a series of instructions.
What is the Lord saying to us?

Romans 12:10-13
10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;
11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,
13 contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.

What is the first commandment that is mentioned in relationship to OneAnother?

• Be devoted to OneAnother

How?

• in brotherly love

How is that lived out?

• give preference to OneAnother
• honor OneAnother
• do not lag behind in diligence
• be fervent in spirit
• serve the Lord
• rejoice in hope
• persevere in tribulation
• be devoted in prayer
• contribute to the needs of the saints
• practice hospitality
