"But the Lord..."

“But the Lord…”

Blessings folk!

We learned earlier that no on came to Paul’s defense.

Yet, Paul was not alone.

2Ti 4:16-18
At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; may it not be counted against them.
But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

But…
The Lord stood with Paul.
The Lord strengthened Paul.
The Lord rescued Paul...out of the lion’s mouth.
The Lord brought (will bring) Paul safely to His heavenly kingdom.

The Lord enabled Paul to proclaim the full gospel message.
The proclamation was fully accomplished.
The purpose?
That the Gentiles might hear.

Remember…
The Lord will stand with you.
The Lord will strengthen you.
The Lord will rescue you.
The Lord will bring True Believers into His heavenly Kingdom.

Give Him glory today, forever and ever.
