“Seek Not Evil…”

Blessings folk!

We saw yesterday that we are to…

1 Th 5:14
We urge you, brethren,
admonish the unruly,
encourage the fainthearted,
help the weak,
be patient with everyone.

Think on this a little more.

Among the Body of Christ…among true Believers…there might be times when folk are unruly, fainthearted weak and challenging.

What are we to do?

Admonish the unruly.
Note that we are not to be a milquetoast, passive weakling.
We are to aggressively love.
We are to aggressively deal with situations.

Encourage those who are fainthearted.
Help the weak.
Be patient with all.
We all will require patience for one another.
We all will be the source of impatience on occasion. LOL

We are not to seek revenge nor retribution.
We are to seek what is best for one another.
We are to seek what is best for all people.

How do I know?

The next verse says so…

1 Th 5:15
See that no one repays another with evil for evil,
but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.

Are we doing so?
