“David Prospered”
Blessings folk!
David killed the giant Goliath.
The soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David.
David now resided in the house of King Saul.
Jonathan had stripped himself of the position of “king-in-waiting”.
Watch how things progressed.

So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and prospered;
and Saul set him over the men of war.
And it was pleasing in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.
Saul began to “send David out”.
Apparently in military endeavors.
Wherever Saul sent David, David prospered.
Saul then set David over the men of war.
He was the military leader.
The people were pleased
The servants of Saul were pleased.
All is well…for awhile.
David was “raised up” by the hand of the Lord.
It was the Lord and His timing.
We should wait for such.
We should live knowing that it is the Lord Who raises up and brings down.
Allow Him to exalt.
Allow Him to debase.
