“You and God Are Witnesses"

Blessings folk!

Paul continues to remind the Thessalonians of their time together.
(Note again, the patterns of “threes” that Paul uses throughout the letter&hellipWinking

1 Th 2:10-12

You are witnesses, and so is God,
how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers;

just as you know how we were exhorting and encouraging and imploring each one of you as a father would his own children,

so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God
who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

Paul declared that they, and God, were witnesses to what he was saying…to what they experienced.

How did Paul and friends behave toward the believing Thessalonians?
- devoutly
- uprightly
- blamelessly

They behaved as a father toward his children…
- exhorting
- encouraging
- imploring

All to the goal of walking in a manner worthy of God.

God Who called them, and us, into His kingdom.
God Who called them, and us, into His glory.

May we do likewise?
Behave devoutly, uprightly and blamelessly before one another.
Exhort, encourage, implore one another.
