1 Th 2:19-20

For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation?
Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

For you are our glory and joy.

We know that Paul/we have our hope and joy and crown of exultation in the Lord!

But, note what Paul says here.

He stated that he receives hope, joy and crown of exultation from the fact that they would be with the Lord Jesus at His coming.

Paul rejoiced in the fact that they are the Lord’s.

Why?

They were Paul’s glory.
They were Paul’s joy.
They were true believers.
They had believed through the proclamation of Paul and friends.

They, and we, all will be together at the coming of the Lord.

This is to be to the praise of the glory of His grace!

Today, think of one another in this way.

Especially rejoice over those that are your “glory and joy”.
