"Ready?"

“Ready?”

Blessings folk!

Jesus had told His disciples repeatedly that He would die.
He told them that He would arise after three days.
Yet, they did not believe.
Yet, they scattered.
Yet, in the days of greatest darkness and despair, they hid and doubted.

Matthew 26:1-2
1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
Mark 8:31
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

We can understand.
We can imagine the fear.
We can imagine the terror.
We can imagine the hopelessness.

And yet…
They had seen with their own eyes.
They had heard with their own ears.
They had experienced the power of the Most High themselves.

Still, they ran.
They hid.

What about us?

The Lord has given an amazing amount of information about the days ahead.
Are you ready?
Are you prepared?
Will you flee?
Will you hide?
Worse yet, will you deny?

The Lord has given us His Word.
The Lord has given us His Spirit.
The Lord has given us time to prepare, to make ready.

How are we using what He has granted?
