Ephesians 2:13
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Remember the context from yesterday…

“But now…”
In contrast to the past.
In contrast to what we were before.
In contrast to who we were before.
We once were far off from the Lord.

“But now in Christ Jesus….”
Those who are in Christ Jesus - True Believers.

Now, we have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Brought near to what?
We will see more later.

It is the blood of Jesus that brings us near. It is the blood of Jesus that sets us free.
It is the blood of Jesus that empowers and heals.
It is the blood of Jesus, as we will see, that reconciles.

From far off to near...by the blood.

It is by the blood that we live...
