“Christ Is All and In All”

Blessings folk!

Think on what we have seen the past couple of days.
Give close attention to the last part of verse 11.

Col 3:8-9
But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
Do not lie to one another, since you
laid aside the old self with its evil practices,

Col 3:10-11
and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him—
a r
enewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

We are to put off the old self...put it to death daily.
We are to put on the new self...the self that is being renewed daily in the image of the Lord.

Knowing this.
That Christ is all.
Christ is in all.

Christ is in all True Believers.

A clear understanding and application of this truth would transform the way that the Body of Christ relates to one another.

How different things would be if we realize that we are dealing with “Christ in you” in our relationships with the Body.

Truly, the world would know that we are His disciples because we would be living evidence and manifestations of His love.

The next verses will show us how this looks...how we are to act.

For today, live as the new self that is constantly being renewed, a vessel of the Lord.
