Eph 6:14-16

Stand firm therefore,
HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH,
and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,

and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;

in addition to all,
taking up the shield of faith
with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

This is what we do.
This is what we “put on”.
Truth!
Righteousness!
Gospel!
Faith!

Note the protection.
Loins girded with truth.
Chest covered with breastplate of righteousness.
Feet prepared with the gospel of peace.
The shield of faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one.

We are not alone.
We are not defenseless.
We are not without offense.

The Lord has granted us all we need.

Use it.
