“Understanding”

Blessings folk!

We are drawing to the end of Psalm 119.
One last stanza.
So much Truth related to the Word of the Lord and our relationship with Him is found in this Psalm.
Meditate upon it the balance of life.

Psalm 119:169-170
Taw
169 Let my cry come before you, O Lord;     give me understanding according to your word! 170 Let my plea come before you;     deliver me according to your word.

The Psalmist wanted understanding according to the Word of the Lord.
So should the cry of our heart be.

It is only the Lord that gives understanding.
Not man.
Not institution.

Only the Lord.

He will respond to our cry for understanding.

His Word is understanding.

He will deliver us...according to His Word.

The Psalmist continues to plea to the Lord for rescue, for deliverance, etc.

He waits patiently.

So should we.

Today, rest in the understanding of the Lord.
Seek more.
Be at peace in Him.
Rejoice!
