“God Will Bring Them!”
Blessings folk!
Paul continued to answer the unstated questions that the Thessalonians had.
“What happens if a Believer dies before the Lord returns?”
We have seen that Believers have a hope the world does not have…
1 Th 4:13
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep,
so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope.
What is the hope?
The next verse tells us…
1 Th 4:14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
There it is.
If we believe.
Believe what?
Believe that Jesus died and rose again.
Then we can know this.
God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus…those who have Believed.
Those who have “fallen asleep” - died - in the Lord are with God.
He will bring them forth at the appropriate time.
