Blessings folk!
Today is the day that the united states of America celebrates as “independence day”.
(A little true, historical research will bring some interesting facts and questions.)
As a Believer, do not forget.
Do not forget what true liberty is.
Do not forget what true freedom is.
Remember…
2 Co 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
We as Believers are children of God.
We have the freedom of God.
Rom 8:20-21
For the creation was subjected to futility,
not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
Gal 5:1
It was for freedom that Christ set us free;
therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
1Pe 2:16
Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil,
but use it as bondslaves of God.
We have “freedom of glory”!
Think on that one!
Christ set us free…for freedom!
What are we to do?
Stand firm.
Do not go back into slavery…of the flesh, of sin.
Act as free men.
Do not use freedom as a covering for evil…this is done too often.
Live in your freedom and liberty as a bondslave of God!
