“Speak…”

Blessings folk!

The Lord continues with His instructions to His Body.
Another two-fold, one thought moment...

Ephesians 4:29
29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

A command.
An instruction.
Related to our speech...our mouth.
Let no corrupting talk...no unwholesome word...come out of our mouth.

So, in the “negative”, we are to be certain to not allow any corrupting word to come from our mouths.
We decide.
We control our speech.
We either speak from the flesh, or we speak from the Spirit.
Choose well.

In the “positive”, we are to speak words which…

• build up the Body
• fit the occasion
• give grace to those who hear…

Let those who have ears hear.
Speak grace.
Speak truth.
Speak love.
