“Destined For…”
Blessings folk!
Listen to this great word of hope the Lord gives us through Paul.
Remember everything that had been said to the Thessalonians to this point.
1 Th 5:9-10
For God has not destined us for wrath,
but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who died for us,
so that whether we are awake or asleep,
we will live together with Him.
We as Believers are not destined to experience the wrath of God.
Yeah!!
We as Believers are destined to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Yeah!
If you Believe…
If Jesus is Lord…
Then salvation!
The Lord died for us.
So whether we are awake (alive) at His coming or asleep (dead body) we will live together with Him.
We as Believers are destined to spend eternity with the Lord.
Now, read what Paul says we are to do with this understanding…
1 Th 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build up one another,
just as you also are doing.
Encourage one another with these truths.
Build up one another with these truths.
Do so, even more!
