"Ready?"

“Ready?”

Blessings folk!

They did not know.

One was simply folding clothes, turned to move and fell…
Another was working in the yard, felt tired…

Both are now in the Hands of God.
Both are now outside the corporeal existence of earthly bodies.

One, I know, will spend eternity in the Presence of the Most High God.
The other, I do not know…

Which brings this before us.

Are you ready?
Are you prepared to exit from this life into eternity?

If you “do not know”, then you are likely not prepared.

The Lord tells us that today is the day of salvation…

2 Corinthians 6
1 Working together with Him, we also appeal to you: "Don't receive God's grace in vain."
2 For He says:
In an acceptable time, I heard you,
and in the day of salvation, I helped you.
Look, now is the acceptable time; look, now is the day of salvation.

Those who are ready have hope.
Believers who remain have hope.
The world knows not this hope.

1 Thessalonians 4
13 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.

So, do what the Lord commands - examine yourself.

2 Corinthians 12
5 Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
6 But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test.

Wait not...
