“Peace is Ours”

Blessings folk!

Today’s reading:

John 14:27-31

Jesus did exactly as Father told Him.
He lived obedience to Father.
A Model.
An Example.

Note what Jesus tells us:
  • He leaves peace with us. We should live in peace. If we are not in peace, then we are not in Him.
  • Do not let your heart be troubled...we have responsibility. Abide in Him.
  • Do not let your heart be fearful...we decide. Do we trust the Lord or circumstance?
  • They should have rejoiced that He said He was going away...He was going to Father.
  • Father is greater than Jesus.
  • He was telling them these things before they happened so that they would believe when it did happen.
  • He would not speak much more with them.
  • The ruler of this world...satan...was coming.
  • Jesus had nothing to do with him...satan.

Do you trust the Lord?
Do you react in distrust dependent upon situation?

Remember what the Lord did for us...
