“To Him…”

Blessings folk!

We have reached the end...of the short letter of Jude.

As we have seen, it is packed with information, insight, warning, commands, instructions, etc..

The letter ends with one of the most uplifting “doxologies” in the Word.

Jude 24-25
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

To Him!

• who is able to keep you from stumbling. It is the Lord and the Lord alone that enables us to stand firm without stumbling
• It is the Lord that enables us to stand firm in this life without stumbling. He also enables us stand in His Presence...the Presence of His glory, blameless with great joy.
• He is our only God
• He is our Savior
• He does this through Jesus Christ our Lord

To Him!

• be glory
• be majesty
• be dominion
• be authority

Before all time.
Now.
Forever.

Some serious theological detail there.
It is only through the Lord.
He is “outside” of time.
He created time and is not limited by any of His creation.
All of this was before all time...before anything was spoken into existence…
All is now…
All is forever…

Stand - kept from stumbling by the Lord.
Stand - in the Presence of His glory blameless with great joy...soon!
