“Healer”

Here we have another example of the importance of getting the full counsel of the Word of God. Each gospel is important in understanding the account.

Jesus leaves the synagogue and goes to Simon’s house.
Simon’s mother-in-law was taken by a fever...a great/high fever.
They asked Jesus to help.

Note what Jesus did.
He stood over her.
He took her by the hand.
He raised her up.
He rebuked the fever.

The fever left.
She immediately arose and waited on them.

So much here.

Do we approach illness this way?
Do we seek the Lord?
Do we rebuke such?
When healed from sickness do we immediately seek to serve the Lord?

Jesus, the healer.
