1 Th 1:1-5

Paul and Silvanus and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
Grace to you and peace.

Paul, Silvanus and Timothy were writing to the Body.
The letter later reveals that is was primarily Paul writing.

Notice what they spoke to the church.

Grace to you!
Peace to you!

How different would we be as the Body if we did likewise?

Speak Grace to one another.
Speak Peace to one another.

Now, note what they speak to them…

1 Th 1:2

We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers;

Paul and entourage thanked God for them.
They told them so.

Paul and entourage mentioned them in their prayers before God.
They told them so.

Again, how different would the Body be if we did likewise?

Let us do so.

Speak grace to/upon one another.
Speak peace to/upon one another.
Thank God for one another, always.
Pray for one another, always.
